Third Page: Third Movement

It takes three
to complete,
make life full,
of body, mind,
spirit.

Third Movement

Three, wow, something
holy in that word,
like my namesake.
All good things...
you know.
Three persons,
divine all,
three days,
changed everything
with extravagant
life.

Tribute to J.S.

Johann Sebastian was his name,
a musicians musician and
composers composer. He
believed he was created
in Gods image, and in that
image he never tired of creating.
Ahead of his time, a prophet
of sound, rarely accepted in
his home town and nation.
Yet inspired with life-breathing
Spirit to give birth to over
one-hundred-and-ninety
compositions. He shared his
God-given gift with humankind,
inspiring all lovers of music
with his Brandenburgs, Goldbergs,
St. Matthew and St. John Passions,
the Mass in B minor, and
weekly liturgical choral pieces.
King of the organ with Toccatas
and Fugues, endless scores of
extraordinary rigour, beauty and grace.
All offered in humble service to
forever praise his Lord and God.

Musical Note 3

Anti-War Reflections

Blindness and madness

Imprison our planet.

Hysteric words of hatred and war

Screaming for victory and revenge.

Yet millions march for peace.

George W. Bush and Saddam Hussein,

Enemies locked in lust of pride

And power. No conflict resolution

To this when both are absolutely right

And the other is demonically wrong.

The old Byrd sang and played

Ecclesiastes with all of his heart and

Soul. I listened in and was inspired

To ask the LORD to heal the hearts

Of all and make them whole.
